How does Ad 2 DC help our community?
Ad 2 DC’s annual Public Service campaign benefits a local non-profit organization by providing advertising services at no cost to the client. Ad 2 DC, along with Ad 2 chapters across the country, creates a fully-integrated marketing and advertising campaign, which can include TV and radio spots, print and outdoor ads, public relations and media relations, brochures and newsletters, and websites and media placements, based on the needs of the client. The campaigns are presented to industry judges and peers at the National Ad 2 Public Service Competition at the AAF National Conference each June.

What type of programs does Ad 2 DC offer?
Ad 2 DC provides various programs for our members and the community. Our AdConnect series is our free networking event to help you connect with D.C.’s finest advertising and marketing professionals. Our Tips & Tricks series provides insights on topics to help give you an edge up, from career searching and resume advice to social media marketing, LinkedIn, Photoshop shortcuts, and more. Finally, our larger signature events feature high-profile speakers sharing industry insight.

How much does it cost to attend Ad 2 DC programs?
Ad 2 DC’s monthly AdConnect networking events are free to attend and don’t require registration. Programs range from free for members to $25, and $10-50 for non-members. Registration is required for all events.

How can Ad 2 DC enhance or further develop my skill set?
Ad 2 DC offers a variety of opportunities to expand your knowledge. We have several committees for our members to get involved with and learn leadership skills. So whether you are in account service, marketing, creative, or media buying, or you are looking to make a career change in the industry, we have something for you to get involved with and learn.
